Help & Care CEO to Retire After 40 Years of Dedicated Service

Help & Care announces the retirement of its esteemed CEO, Mark Sharman, who has decided to step down in March 2026 after an extraordinary 40 years of dedicated service. Mark has been a pivotal force in the organisation, leading with passion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to its mission. 

Under Mark's visionary leadership, Help & Care has achieved significant milestones, always staying true to its mission. His unwavering dedication has ensured that every initiative aligns with the organisation's core values; as a result, his leadership has touched countless lives and made a lasting impact on the community. 

"It has been an incredible journey," said Mark. "I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve this organisation and work alongside so many inspiring individuals. Together, we have accomplished remarkable things, and I am confident that Help & Care will continue to thrive and make a difference in the years to come." 

The Board of Trustees expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mark Sharman for his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment. "We are profoundly thankful for Mark's four decades of service," said Adrian Dawson, Chair of the Board. "Under his guidance, Help & Care has grown and flourished, and he leaves behind a legacy of compassion and excellence." 

 

The Board will initiate a search for a new CEO to build on the strong foundation laid by Sharman and lead Help & Care into the future. During this transition period, Mark will work closely with the Board and Senior Leadership to ensure a smooth and seamless handover.
